Landrum may become the next Upstate city to debate food truck regulations.
The city only has one food truck in operation right now. However, there are currently no rules in place to dictate what is or isn’t allowed.
City leaders have asked the city administrator, Caitlin Martin, to research vendor ordinances in other cities like Greenville and Charleston. She’ll use that information to draft a proposal that would dictate fees, operation standers and zoning.
The plan is expected to be presented to council in September.
