Wednesday marks 10 years since the Superbike Motorsports murders. It’s known as one of the most violent days in the history of Spartanburg County.
Family and friends of the victims, along with members of the law enforcement community held a memorial service at Spartanburg’s Cleveland Park.
Four people were killed at Superbike Motorsports on Parris Bridge Road.
Scott Ponder, Brian Lucas, Beverly Guy, and Chris Sherbert were shot to death, but a gunman who has not yet been identified.
The public was invited to attend the memorial for the victims. It started at 6 p.m., Wednesday at the park.
Last week, deputies released a new composite sketch of a person of interest in the case.
They hope the public will help find the person responsible.
