Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information on the driver in a deadly hit and run in Anderson County.
“He was always laughing, made people feel comfortable when he was around,” says Karen Bright.
36-year-old Victor Smith is being remembered as a loving and giving person. His mom, Karen Bright, and sister, Pam Powell say if he had $2 and you needed cash, he’d give you the money.
“It’s hard to think we’re not gonna see him again, to see that smile,” Bright says.
Smith was killed early November 1. Highway Patrol says someone hit him on Broadway Lake Road and left the scene. They say the car was either a Dodge Charger, Dodge Magnum or Chrysler 300. They say it will have noticeable damage to the front.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward. Smith’s family is hoping that will prompt someone to come forward and tell them what happened.
“We’re not mad, we’re lost,” Powell says.
“We know he’s in heaven so he’s fine,” Bright says, “We wanna know what happened.”
Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC
