Every July 4th the skies fill with vibrant colors as fireworks explode and onlookers “ooh” and “ahh” at the fantastic displays. Families and friends gathered at events all over the Upstate for fun and fireworks this past holiday weekend.
Spartanburg County was no exception with their 12th annual “Red, White and Boom” festival at Barnet Park. Food, live music and a spectacular display of fireworks kept everyone more than entertained for the evening.
Greenville County also held their annual “Red, White and Blue” festival in the streets of downtown Greenville. With live performances, great food and a children’s area, this event ended with a boom as an hour of fireworks lit the sky.
The Upstate showcased several other events featuring fireworks displays that family and friends attended to celebrate the American holiday.
