Hendersonville Suspected Robber Found Asleep In Car

Hendersonville Police arrested the second suspect for a store robbery after we’re told he was found sleeping in his car.

Austin James West was arrested early Monday morning. He is the second suspect in the robbery of the Corner Pantry on April 25. 

West and Marquis Dechane Harrison are accused by the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office of robbing the store on Brooklyn Avenue in Hendersonville. Harrison was arrested early Sunday morning.

Harrison is also accused of a robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank branch in Laurel Park on Friday.

Hendersonville Police were asked to check out a report of a suspicious person in a car off Spring Garden Avenue. West was arrested without incident at 1:41 a.m. He is being held in the Henderson County Detention Center.
