Tropical Storm Ana to lash Carolina Coast with Wind and Rain This Weekend

 The national hurricane center has upgraded “Ana” to a tropical storm with sustained wind of 60 mph.

A tropical storm warning is in effect for South Santee River South Carolina to Cape Lookout.

Storm surge of one to two feet above ground is expected in the warning zone.

Rainfall accumulation of one to three inches is expected for eastern portions of South Carolina and North Carolina.

Swells and rip currents will occur along the coast and you should avoid swimming this weekend.
