The boil water advisory for the town of Carlisle has been lifted Friday Morning.
Santruck Hebron Water Company repealed the advisory that was put in effect on Wednesday. Samples of the water were tested and found to be safe to us for drinking and cooking.

A boil water advisory has been issued for Union County.
Santuck Hebron Water Company is advising customer to vigorously boil your water for at least a minute prior to drinking or cooking beginning at immediately.
Also remember to dump out any ice made from water that has not been boiled.
The water advisory has been issued, due to a a water line break at the intersection of Strother Road and Santuc Carlisle Hwy in Carlisle.
There has been no confirmed contamination of the system. However, because of the loss of pressure, the potential for contamination exists. Water samples will be collected as soon as possible and you will be notified when the boil water notice is lifted.
