2 Dead After Train Collides With Car In Greenville Co. (Image 1)

A driver and a passenger are dead after troopers say the driver disregarded the warning signals and was struck by a train in Greenville County.

The Greenville Coroner’s Office says that Reginald Mitchell II, 23 and Carolyn Latrell Mitchell, 61 were both pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident happened at the intersection of Freeman Drive and Stephenson Street in Taylors around 10:30, Tuesday evening.

The driver and the passenger were not wearing seatbelt and were trapped inside of the car, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
