2 Dead After Train Collides With Car In Greenville Co.

IMG_2077A driver and a passenger are dead after troopers say the driver disregarded the warning signals and was struck by a train in Greenville County.

The incident happened at the intersection of Freeman Drive and Stephenson Street in Taylors around 10:30, Tuesday evening.

The driver and the passenger were not wearing seat belt and were trapped inside of the car, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. They were both pronounced dead at the scene.

The Greenville County Coroner’s office has not released the names of the victims yet.
