The Pickens County Sheriff’s office arrested Semeca Danyelle Oglesby of Liberty Wednesday at 4:15 p.m. and charged her with aiding an escape from prison.

Oglesby was arrested at a home in Norris, SC after a Sheriff’s Office investigation revealed she arranged for the transport of two escaped inmates at the Pickens County Stockade.

Deputies also report that she was allegedly present when the escapees were picked up near the Stockade, where they were then driven to a home in Easley.

William David Burns, who drove the escaped inmates from Easley to another location in Greenville County, was arrested yesterday.

The investigation into all of the events that resulted from the Stockade escape are still ongoing.
