Polk Sheriff’s Investigators Recover $25,000 Worth of Stolen Property in Mill Spring Breaking and Entering

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigators Division received information three homes in Mill Spring were used to store a bulk of stolen items totaling $25,000. In a joint effort with Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, Fletcher Police Department, Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office and the Translyvania County Sheriff’s office one of the three residences located at Barrington Court recovered several thousands of dollars of property that was stolen from a residence in Polk County. Also, recovered during the search was Heroin, Methamphetamine, Liquid Ecstasy, and various paraphernalia. This search led to the search of two additional houses in Buncombe County. Polk County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division Captain BJ Bayne stated, “This comes as a result of persistence. As leads developed, investigators continued to follow each one which took a snowball effect.”

The investigation led to the recover of $25,000 worth of stolen property. 9 suspects were arrested, including four who hold outstanding warrants. Bayne said, ” The results are efforts of multi-agencies cooperation working for the good of a victim. All the involved agencies pulled together and put numerous hours in trying to recover as much property and apprehend all individuals responsible.” Those included in the arrest are:
Sumulee Mongkolket Fayssoux 35, of Barraington Court Fletcher, NC. Arrested and charged with three counts of Felony Breaking and Entering, Felony Larceny After Breaking and Entering, Misdemeanor 1st Degree Trespassing, and Felony Conspiracy Breaking and Entering/Larceny. Fayssoux is scheduled to appear in court on May 27, she has a secured $16,500 bond.

Christina Parris, 33 of Hope View Drive Hendersonville, NC has been charged with Felony Breaking and Entering, 1st Degree Trespass, Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, and Possesion of Marijuana Paraphernalia. Parris has been appointed an attorney. Her next scheduled court date is May 20 and she has been issued a $15,000 secure bond.

Amy Bowers-Sypress, 33 of Owensby Road Hendersonville, NC has been charged with Felony Breaking and entering and 1st Degree Trespass. Her next appointed court appearance is May 20 and she has been issued a $5,000 secure bond which she has posted.

Eva Acosta, 28 of Elson Drive Hendersonville, NC has been charged with Felony Breaking and Entering, 1st Degree Trespass, Possession of Marijuana, and Felony Possession of Methamphetamine and Marijuana inside of a detention facility. Acosta was issued a written promise to appear, her first court appearance is May 27.
