Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies are searching for a man who refused to stop when an officer attempted to stop him, and then fled on foot into a wooded area.
According to the report given by the Sheriff’s Office, Joshua Logan Davis, 27 was driving a red F-150 pickup truck towing a camper when a deputy tried to pull him over.
Davis did not stop and was pursued by the deputy for at least five minutes before driving off the road at Pine Circle in Pelzer and then took off on foot.
The report states that deputies set up a perimeter and searched for Davis with a canine and helicopter unit, but he was not found.
Records show that the pickup truck Davis was driving was stolen from Abbeville County and the camper was stolen from Greenville County, both of which were valued at $10,000.
Warrants have been issued for Davis for failing to stop for blue lights and receiving stolen goods.
Davis is described as a white man, 5’6″, 165 lbs. with brown hair and blue eyes, and he has a known address in Williamston on Hardy St.
