Teams from all over the world are in Easley for the Big League Baseball World Series. Over eight days, 16 thousand people are expected to attend the games at the J.B. Red Owens Complex.
Tournament Director Jon Humphrey says it brings in three quarters of a million dollars in economic impact for the area with teams traveling here from all over the world.
“We’re a very large sporting event and a wonderful international event at the same time,” Humphrey explained.
ESPN will have live coverage from the championship game on August fourth.
