SPARTANBURG – Spartanburg County Sheriff’s deputies are trying to identify a woman who they say has been shopping with a stolen bank debit card.

Investigators released two photos of a woman who is a suspect after using the card at several businesses – costing the victim nearly $900 in charges and overdraft fees – in Spartanburg between May 14-19.

The card holder says she last used the card on May 11 and canceled it with her bank two weeks later. She noticed charges she had not made on her account when she checked her bank statement in early June.

Deputies say the woman in the photo was denied four other times in trying to use the card.

If you recognize her you’re asked to call Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office Senior Investigator Tom Clark at (864) 503-4581 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
