A 17 year old was shot in the face Wednesday afternoon after a gun accidentally went off inside a Duncan home.
According to Duncan Police Chief Carl Long, two teens were playing with a .22 caliber revolver at a home on Sunny Ray Drive when one of them pulled the trigger.
The victim was reportedly shot in the face, but was alive and talking before he left the scene. He said the shooting was accidental.
Long tells us the teen who fired the gun, Roque Ricardo Deleon Jr., ran away, but was found by officers and taken to the police station. No gun has been recovered at this time.
Deleon has been arrested and charged with discharging a dangerous device in city limits, unlawful carry of a pistol, and attempted murder.
Police are still investigating this shooting.
