UNION – Union Public Safety confirms that the missing 5-year-old boy has been found unharmed Tuesday night.

Union Public Safety Lt. Troy Wright says the missing boy and his father came to the Union Public Safety Offices around 5 p.m.

Matthew Robert Ingle had been missing since Friday afternoon after his father picked him up from a home on Blassingame Street.

Matthew’s mother tried to pick him up at the last known address for Shaun Ingle – the boy’s father – on Oakhurst Circle in Spartanburg, but no one lives at that address anymore.

Ingle was with his mother, GeorgeAnn Ingle, when he picked up the child on Friday. They were driving a red 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser with South Carolina license plate KJY-270.

Lt. Troy Wright said investigators didn’t believe the child was in any danger which is why there was not an AMBER Alert issued.
