Three members of a family were thrown from their boat and suffered minor injuried Sunday afternoon while on Lake Robinson in Greer.
According to the SC Department of Natural Resources at the scene, a family of four including two children were boating when the throttle on the motor’s Tiller Handle stuck.
The family was ejected into the water and the boat struck three of the four family members causing various arm and leg injuries, with a few broken bones.
The boat was eventually secured by crews who arrived to the scene and the injured were taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Both of the children were wearing life jackets at the time of the incident.
