Northwood Loses to PA 9-8 In 2nd LLWS Game

Northwood Little League team faces a team from Lewisberry, Pennsylvania in a winner's bracket game at the Little League World Series.

The Northwood Little League baseball team loses to the Lewisberry, PA team by a score of 9-8.

Pennsylvania scored 5 runs in the 1st inning and followed it with 1 run in the 2nd.

Alex Edmondson hit a 3 run HR to cap off a four run 4th inning for Northwood.

They trailed 6-4 in the 6th, but scored four more runs – capped off by a three run triple by Brock Myers to take a 8-6 lead.

But Lewisberry’s Kaden Peifer lead off the 6th with a solo home run to cut it to 8-7 and then won it with a walk off 2 run triple by Jaden Henline.

Northwood won their first game Friday 7-1 over a team from Cranston, Rhode Island.

Lewisberry won their first game Friday night with an 18-0 4 inning mercy rule win over a team from Missouri.

Northwood will now face Bowling Green, Kentucky Monday afternoon at 4 pm in this double elimination tournament.

Northwood must win Monday to stay alive.
