Suspected Spartanburg Burglar Cooks Meal, Takes Nothing

SPARTANBURG – A Spartanburg man says someone broke into his home, cooked something in a pan, drank from one of his glasses, but didn’t take anything.

The burglary was reported around 8:00 a.m. Tuesday at a home on Foxhall Road according to the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office. The homeowner says he arrived at the house and noticed a front window was open and the front porch light was on.

A pan had been used something in the kitchen, a loaf of bread was moved and someone left a glass on the kitchen counter according to the incident report.

The homeowner noticed evidence that someone had gone into the bathroom of the home and his bedroom.

The homeowner said nothing was missing from the house and deputies said there was no signs of where someone would have forced their way inside the residence.
