Free Legal Clinics Starting Wednesday In Spartanburg

The SC Bar Pro Bono Program is sponsoring more free legal clinics in Spartanburg County.  The first of eight planned clinics in September kicks off Wednesday.  Attorneys will cover a variety of issues.  The format typically consists of an overview followed by a question and answer session.

The schedule is as follows:

• Sept. 2-Wills, Estates and Probate Issues from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Westside Branch Library (525 Oak Grove Rd., Spartanburg 29301). The clinic will be led by Leon L. Campbell

• Sept. 9-Family Law Issues from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Westside Branch Library (525 Oak Grove Rd., Spartanburg 29301). The clinic will be led by Leon L. Campbell.

• Sept. 14-Wills, Estates and Probate Issues from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Cowpens Branch Library (181 School St., Cowpens 29330). The clinic will be led by Edwin C. Haskell III.

• Sept. 15-Family Law Issues from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Inman Branch Library (50 Mill St., Inman 29349). The clinic will be led by Joseph Patrick Anderson.

• Sept. 22- Wills, Estates and Probate Issues from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Inman Branch Library (50 Mill St., Inman 29349). The clinic will be led by Reginald L. Foster.

• Sept. 23-End of Life Issues from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Westside Branch Library (525 Oak Grove Rd., Spartanburg 29301). The clinic will be led by Stinson W. Ferguson.

• Sept. 29-Landlord/Tenant Law Issues from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Inman Branch Library (50 Mill St., Inman 29349). The clinic will be led by Joseph Patrick Anderson.

• Sept. 30-Real Estate Issues and Foreclosures from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Westside Branch Library (525 Oak Grove Rd., Spartanburg 29301). The clinic will be led by Joshua Lonon.
