Former Late Show host David Letterman is enjoying retirement and growing a world-class beard. Letterman was in the San Francisco area over the weekend for an Indycar race. He co-owns one of the teams. Letterman tells KPIX-TV, he’ll be “in the front row” to watch his successor Stephen Colbert when he debuts on “The Late Show” on Tuesday, September 8.
Vice President Joe Biden will be among Stephen Colbert’s first guests on “The Late Show.” CBS says the country’s second in command will join the CEO of Uber and country singer Toby Keith on Sept. 10th episode of the show.
“The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” will air weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on 7 On Your Side.
