Everyday 43 children are diagnosed with cancer, most of those are before the age of six.
Tristan Harrill fit that statistic well. Diagnosed with Leukemia at the age of 4, Tristan took chemotherapy for the next four years of his life.
During that time, Tristan found relief in golf. At 5, he joined the First Tee Golf Program in Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties.
Golf helped Tristan improve his muscle memory as well as beat cancer.
Now at 9, Tristan continues to advance in golf, as well as remain cancer free for a year and half.
Because of Tristan’s journey, he was recently featured on the Golf Channel. Showing how his journey can inspire others.
