SHS Moves Down A Notch, Byrnes Up Two In MaxPreps Rankings

Spartanburg dropped from 11th to 12th while Byrnes jumped-up to 20th in this week’s MaxPreps National Rankings.

Each is 4-0 with Region 2-4A play beginning this week.

The Vikings won their 13th straight game, dating to last season, with a 42-7 triumph over Greenwood this past Friday night. The Vikings are home to winless Riverside this Friday.

Byrnes won its fourth straight in its series with Gaffney, 28-14, Friday. The Rebels travel to Boiling Springs (1-3) this Friday.

Spartanburg visits Byrnes October 2nd.
