Suspect Still Wanted In Greenville Co. Chase That Ended In Crash

Deputies in Spartanburg and Greenville Counties are looking for one suspect involved in a chase that ended in a crash.

Deputies say Daniel Earl Webb, 36, is wanted for unlawful carrying of a pistol, failure to stop for blue light, aggravated breach of peace.

The chase started after a shooting outside the Briar Patch at Goodjoin Road in Spartanburg County around 11 a.m. Tuesday. Spartanburg Co. deputies say a man was accidentally shot in the hand.

They now believe the gunshot was self inflicted.

Sheriff Chuck Wright says there were a total of four people involved in the incident. Two women and two men.

Spartanburg Co. deputies chased their SUV into Greenville County where they crashed on Highway 11 at Dill Road in Greenville County, according to the Greenville Co. deputies.

The other three people involved in the incident have been located and interviewed by deputies.

Barton Kevin Mason, the other man in the incident was charged with receiving stolen goods.

One of the women say she claims to have been kidnapped and they are treating her as a victim.

Sheriff Wright say there are outstanding warrants on the two men on unrelated charges.

Two sheriff’s office helicopters were flying over wooded areas near Hwy. 11..
