GREENVILLE – Fall For Greenville returns next week with an extra night added to the street festival along with some new restaurants that will be among those serving up food.
Festival officials announced Tuesday the festival will start on October 8 with a concert featuring The Suffers and Nathan Angelo starting at 6:30 p.m.
The entire street festival will be held October 8-11 and stretches for a full mile with 40 restaurants serving up food. 34 of those restaurants are returning to offer more than 250 different menu items.
Fall For Greenville will also feature six stages with five featuring live music. Sixty regional and national entertainers are scheduled to perform and 50 of the acts are new to the festival for 2015.
All Fall For Greenville concerts are free.
The festival can still use more volunteers to help stage the event.
“It takes over 1,800 volunteers and they have a lot of great support,” said FFG Chariman of the Board Jennifer Sutton, “but they can always use more.
