Around 45,000 pacifier clips have been recalled due to a possible choking hazard.
Chewbeads recalled five styles of baby pacifier clip holders Wednesday. The company says the “D” ring on the clip can break off allowing the beads to detach and cause a choking hazard.
The five styles include shapes of a butterfly, dinosaur, heart, sheriff badge, and white baseball. The “Chewbeads baby” logo is printed on each of them.
The pacifier clips have eight multi-colored beads threaded through a narrow satin ribbon that attaches to the pacifier on one end and a plastic D-ring on the other.
There have been seven reports of beads detaching but no injuries.
