Spartanburg Takes Care Of Byrnes Thursday Night

MaxPreps No. 12 Spartanburg saw its defense record 12 sacks and got a 132-yard rushing night out of stand-out Tavien Feaster as the Vikings moved on to a 17-7 victory over number 25 Byrnes Thusday night in Duncan.

The game was moved from Friday due to expected inclement weather.

The Vikings (6-0, 2-0, 15 straight wins) snapped a 14-game losing streak in their series with the Rebels (5-1, 1-1).  Spartanburg’s last win against Byrnes prior to Thursday night came in 2001.

Four other area games were moved from Friday to Thursday:
