Heavy rain early Sunday led to flooding in Greenwood Sunday.  City crews say the worst conditions are on Rock Creek Drive.

There are reports of trees down on some homes in Greenwood.  A bridge near the intersection of Mathis and Cobb Road is also closed.

Water covers the street in Greenwood Sunday.

Rocky Creek is above flood stage and Wilson Creek is flooding Siloam Church Road.  There are also reports of up to a foot of water in parking lots near a medical building.  Our crew found flooding on Gatewood Drive, Haltiwanger Road and the Fox Hollow Apartments.

In Laurens County, the City Fire Department says E Main Street near Little River is flooded and no traffic is able to get through. There are also mulitple reports and pictures of flooding on Harris Grove Church Rd, as well as rapidly surging waters along the Reedy River.

24/7 Meteorologist Jason Nappi says that the worst of the storm should be in our area this morning.  There is the potential for urban flooding in the Greenville/Spartanburg area and landslides are likely in the mountains.

3 to 6 inches more rain will fall after days of rain that has saturated the ground.  Gusty winds can knock over trees and power lines.  Sinkholes could also become a problem.
