A fire caused heavy damage to the vacant Old Mill Apartments in Greenville, early Friday morning.
Firefighters were called to the scene just before 2:00 am and found fire coming from the roof of the building.
It took approximately 40 firefighters to knock down the fire.
Views from Air 7 showed a large hole in the roof of the building and extensive fire damage.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire, which started at the center of the building.
The Greenville Fire Inspector says the building, which was once a mill, has been vandalized in the past and is known for having vagrants inside.
There were no injuries resulting from the fire.
