An Anderson police chase ended in a crash, Tuesday night.
Police say it happened near the highway 28 bypass and West Market Street around 11:30 pm.
Anderson Police say a police officer believed the car matched the description of one that was reported stolen and attempted to stop the driver.
We’re told the driver crashed his car into a telephone pole and the pole land on the officer’s cruiser.
No one was hurt and the driver was taken into custody.
The vehicle was not stolen but the driver had a suspended license and a bench warrant from another location.
The driver was charged with Failure to Stop for Blue Lights and Driving Under Suspension.
