Since the new capital project has been announced for District 7, community members have come forward address their thoughts.
That project would include a new high school for Spartanburg, a renovation of the old high school for McCracken Middle, and the consolidation of two elementary schools.
To make this happen, there would be a millage increase that would have to be approved through a district referendum.
There are still open forums for the community.
