Union Police says a man was shot during a robbery on Broyce St. in Union on Friday night.
The victim told police he was walking down the street when a man he didn’t know came up to him, demanded money and pulled out a gun.
He told the man he only had $5.
The victim says when he went to hand the man the $5 he tried to grab the gun.
The gun went off and the bullet went through the victim’s hand and into his leg.
The victim said he walked to Union Medical Service to get help.
No suspect has been named and the investigation is ongoing.
