The Red Cross is helping a family after an early morning fire Monday in Westminster. The organization says an adult and three children were living at the home on Rufus Land Road. The Westminster Fire Department responded to the fire.
The Red Cross is helping the family with flood, clothes, temporary lodging and comfort kits containing personal hygiene items.
According to a press release, the American Red Cross in South Carolina, on average, responds to a disaster every four hours.
