One person is in custody after reports of shots fired at Lakeview Garden Apartments in Union Co.

No one was hurt.

Union Police Chief Sam White says a group of people got into an argument with another group of people who were in two separate vehicles outside the apartment complex.

A person in one of the vehicles fired 4 gunshots, but none of the bullets hit anyone, the chief adds. Officers are not sure who fired the shots.

Police searched for the two vehicles; one was found at Union County High School and the other car was involved in a chase.

Union Co. Sheriff David Taylor says that deputies were involved in a pursuit of the suspect and it ended in Spartanburg County at Highway 176 and W. Main St. in Pacolet.

Two people appeared to be in custody at one point but deputies appear to have un-handcuffed one.

Union County High School was on lockdown because of the incident that was about a mile away from the school.

The lockdown has ended. All students are safe at the school, according to the High School.

Union County Police Department are still investigating the case.
