Crews Respond To Greenville Apartment Fire

GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC- Fire crews responded to an apartment fire in Greenville County, Wednesday morning.

The call came in around 6 a.m. about the fire at Springwood Apartments located at 410 Sulphur Springs Road; that’s near Bethel Baptist Church.

One person was in the home at the time of the fire and they made it out safely. The home has severe kitchen damage, according to Berea Fire Department Chief Alan Myers.

A person in an adjacent apartment was also displaced due to smoke damage and electrical issues. Both tenants are at their relative’s homes.

The fire is still under investigation.

Berea and Greenville County FIre Department worked to put out the fire, according to Chief Myers.
