New numbers show five people have now died from the flu in South Carolina.
According to the latest flu activity report by the SC Department of Health and Environmental Control, the deaths have all happened within the last three weeks.
It has doctors pushing people to get the flu vaccine.
On Saturday, Mary Black Health System made it easy for area families by hosting a drive-thru flu clinic.
They held it in the parking lot of Mary Black Minor Care in Spartanburg. The cost was $20.
DHEC says everyone six months and older should get vaccinated.
Mary Black Health System will host another drive-thru clinic on Thursday from 11am-1pm in the same parking lot. It’s located at 2995 Reidville Road. The cost is $20, cash only.
