Donations for Community, Coats and Cops

The Greenville County Sherriff’s office will start carrying donated coats to give to individuals and families that need protection from cold weather on Nov. 23.

This project has been started by a community action team of the Riley Institute’s Diversity Leaders Initiative called C3.

You can donate new or gently used coats from Nov. 9-20 by the Salvation Army at 417 Rutherford Street in downtown Greenville.

Collaborators in the project include; The Salvation Army, Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, Greenville Chamber of Commerce, Greenville Health System, Michelin North America, Inc. and Furman University.
