MADD President Visits Upstate, Talks About Personal Loss At Campaign

Mothers Against Drunk Driving, MADD, South Carolina hosted their second annual chili cook-off, in Greenville, on Tuesday.

The event was held to honor law enforcement and first responders for their efforts to keep the community safe and to launch the 29th annual ‘Tie One On For Safety holiday, red ribbon awareness campaign which urges community members to always designate a designated driver.

MADD National President Colleen Sheehey-Church shared her story of personal loss at the event.  Her son was killed by a driver under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
