GREENVILLE – Greenville Police started changes Thursday to help manage a portion of Woodruff Road where traffic will increase for the holiday season.
Officers will restrict left turns between Woodruff Industrial Lane and the Interstate 85 interchange throughout the holiday season. Expect to see electronic signs and monitoring of traffic signals from November 27-29 at Magnolia Park and the Shops at Greenridge.
The city is also reporting on what SCDOT traffic engineers see in traffic patterns and it won’t come as much of a surprise.
The less traveled times of day on Woodruff Road are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to noon and Saturday mornings before 10:00.
Traffic is heaviest on that portion of Woodruff Road weekdays from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 11:00 a.m. To the evening hours on Friday and Saturday.
