Holiday hiring is still underway at local Toys “R” Us stores in the Upstate and Western North Carolina.

The retailer plans to hire 40,000 seasonal employees at its stores and distribution centers nationwide.

There are in-store hiring fairs from 11am-7pm Thursday.  You can also apply online at any time.

According to a release from the company, they’re offering flexible, part-time work schedules throughout the week.  This year seasonal workers will also have the opportunity to take on significantly more hours than in previous years.  You could average 18 to 20 hours per week, and up to 30 hours during peak season.
