The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office is looking for help from the public to identify one of two suspects they say robbed a man in Belton.

Deputies say the suspect is a white man, 6 foot 2 inches tall with a full beard and a dagger tattoo on his right forearm. The suspect was also wearing a dark blue hat with “NY” on the front.

The robbery happened on September 3 between 7:00pm and 8:00pm when the victim was walking down Blue Ridge Road when two suspects jumped out of the bushes and grabbed him, according to the incident report.

The report also says the victim could not see the other suspect. The sketch took over two months to be released due to the victim giving investigators the wrong address and the victim taking several weeks to decide to cooperate.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is asked to call Investigator Patrick Henry at 864-260-4420 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
