The largest Christmas model train display of its kind in the southeast is right here in the Upstate.
Miniature World of Trains in Greenville has a display that features four separate tracks including Thomas the Tank Engine and the Polar Express.
For added fun, the display features two scavenger hunts based on Disney’s Frozen and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.
“The kids’ reaction is great,” says General Manager Frank Ruby, “The older folks that had trains, my age and older, it’s just wonderful to see them come in here and enjoy what we’re doing.”
This is the fifth year for the display on Wade Hampton Boulevard. Tickets cost $3 and the display is open through January 3.
