RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. (AP) – The town of Riviera Beach is getting rid of one tribute to its segregationist past.

The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports that the town has renamed Old Dixie Highway to honor President Barack Obama.

It is the second road in the county to be named after Obama. The city of Pahokee in western Palm Beach County renamed East First Street Barack Obama Boulevard two years ago.
