Vandalism Suspect Turns Himself In; Police Seek 3 Others

UPDATE

Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office  says one suspect has turned himself in, Tuesday afternoon.

Doug Cole Suhy, 20, of Forest City, is facing charges after deputies say he and three other people were involved in the vandalism of a high school.

Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office has issued multiple arrest warrants against four suspects involved in the vandalism of a high school.

The suspects were caught on camera Dec 20 throwing objects at the front window of East High School in Bostic NC.

Deputies identified the suspects as Jonathan Tyler Weast, 19, Doug Cole Suhy, 20, Ryan James Thompson, 20, and Joshua Gordon Morrow, 19.

All suspects are facing charges for other crimes they committed either before or after the high school vandalism.

Each suspect is charged with one count of injury to real property, three counts of injury to personal property and one count each of larceny for stealing a Vietnam Memorial flag and a Korean Memorial flag.
