Flood Warning Issued For Residents Along Saluda River

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for the Saluda River, affecting residents in Greenville and Pickens counties who live along the banks of the river until late Saturday afternoon.

The river is forecast to rise above flood stage by Friday afternoon and continue to rise to near 9.9 feet by early Saturday morning.

The river will fall below flood stage by early Saturday morning.

According to the National Weather Service, runoff from the heavy rains over the past two days will cause the river to rise above flood stage.
