While many are at home celebrating the holiday season, others are out working, keeping the Upstate running.
Waffle House was packed Christmas morning with hungry patrons. All of the servers were there greeting them with smiling faces, happy to be at work.
“For some of them, this is 5 or 10 years working on Christmas at Waffle House,” said manager Jamal Curenton.
The firefighters at Westview-Fairforest Fire Department were getting ready for their big Christmas supper, steak and potatoes.
“It’s a little bit tough being away from family, but we have a job to do, and it’s very important for us to be here doing our job,” said Captain Robert Grizzle.
There were dozens of WSPA crewmembers also working today to make sure that you are informed through your holiday.
