AN UPSTATE CHEF IS ONE OF FOUR CHOSEN BY GOVERNOR NIKKI HALEY TO BE A SOUTH CAROLINA CHEF AMBASSADOR FOR 2016. CHEF TERYI YOUNGBLOOD FROM PASSERELLE BISTRO – IN REEDY FALLS PARK – WILL HELP HIGHLIGHT THE CULINARY OFFERINGS AND TOURISM DESTINATIONS THROUGHOUT THE PALMETTO STATE.
Governor Nikki Haley has named Chef Teryi Youngblood from Passerelle Bistro one of the South Carolina Chef Ambassadors for 2016.
Each year, four chefs are selected to serve as the state’s culinary ambassadors. Throughout the year, these chefs participate in a number of culinary and tourism events around the Southeast, host cooking demonstrations and conduct educational seminars.
The Chef Ambassador Project was designed to highlight and showcase the culinary offerings and tourism destinations found throughout the state of South Carolina.
