Super Bowl Grounds Crew Forgets Panthers In End Zone

The Super Bowl 50 grounds crew left out something important as they prepared the field at Levi’s Stadium, there was no end zone for the Carolina Panthers.

The story was posted by CBS Sports.com and other media outlets.

Samuel Lam posted a photo on Twitter showing one end zone of the stadium in Santa Clara, California being painted for the Broncos on Monday. The faint image of Denver’s logo and colors could be seen in the other end zone.

CBS photographer James Martin tweeted another picture from Monday that shows the still visible markings of the Denver Broncos.

The end zone featuring the name, logo and colors of the Carolina Panthers was completed on Thursday according to CBS Sports.com.

Super Bowl 50 between the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos will be played February 7 starting at 6:30 p.m. You will be able to see CBS Sports coverage of the game on 7 News.
