Part Of Clemson Under Boil Water Advisory

Boil Water Advisory lifted for West pelzer

CLEMSON – People living in portions of the City of Clemson are under a boil water advisory Monday morning.

The city issued the advisory for people living on Hill Pine Court, Berkley Court, Evergreen, and Berkley Drive between Evergreen and Hill Pine Court.

The water will be turned off in those areas due to additional repairs to the water valve on Berkeley Drive.
The advisory has been issued as a precaution because of water line repair work being done because of a break on Berkley Drive and Berkley Court.

Water samples have been taken and will be tested. The results should be known by noon Tuesday.
Anyone living in the advisory area is asked to boil water for a full minute before using it for cooking or drinking. Any ice that has been produced from water that wasn’t boiled should not be used.

If you have any questions call the Utilities Department at (864) 653-2046.

7 News will update the status of the boil water advisory and the City of Clemson website will also have that information.
