SC Auto Week Educates Young Mechanists in Upstate

The SC Automotive Council and CU-ICAR are teaming up at the test track at SC Tech.

Auto professionals will be talking to students to tell them about opportunities in the automotive field.

There will be about 30 car companies and other suppliers talking to middle and high schoolers.

Technical college and university graduates will be able to ask questions about which jobs are available in this industry in the Upstate.

There are more than 250 companies in the state’s automotive network and they employ more than 30,000 people in our state.

SC is ranked second among top states in automotive exports and auto week helps showcase this.
